UX Researcher
We are looking for user experience researchers to join our team. We are interested in creative individuals with a strong user research and product design background, knowledgeable about design tools and willing to work in an innovative environment. You will collaborate with benshi.ai’s head of product design to develop UX strategies for our machine learning platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement UX strategies for software solutions
- Define UX principles and standards, and support documentation of design guidelines
- Create case studies, prototypes, user flows, storyboards, and wireframes for product features
- Conduct user research and testing
- Leverage user research to champion the product vision and company mission in the development of new product features
- Identify key areas of opportunity for user experience improvement, while positively contributing to a collaborative, innovative, and design-centric culture
- Collaborate with product designers, managers, data scientists, and engineers in rapid product release cycles
Minimum qualifications
- Portfolio in UX design, product design, or related field
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Strong attention to detail and information hierarchy, excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate insights, thoughtful approaches to problem solving, and ability to present designs to multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Humility, empathy, commitment to collaboration, and enthusiasm for creative thinking
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in UX design, product design, or related field
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, science, or technology
- Expertise in Figma
- Experience designing technical products such as AI, ML, Data Science, or SaaS applications
- Familiarity with design for Customer Data Platforms, Customer Engagement Platforms, and personalization engines
- Experience designing product UX/UI component libraries and/or developing design systems for user interfaces
- Familiarity with front-end development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and collaboration with front-end engineers
- Familiarity with front-end component libraries
- Passion for data visualization and information design
- Passion for impact and designing through the lens of accessibility and equity
